NortekUSA User Symposium - Vicksburg

The annual NortekUSA user seminar on May 14-16 came to an end late Friday, after three days of technology discussions, user presentations, training sessions, and a live Blues band and catfish fry. The feedback from the 50+ participants was very positive and we all thank NortekUSA Gulf Coast manger Don Conlee for showing us the true meaning of "Southern Hospitality".

This year's seminar included twelve user presentations covering different applications of Nortek instruments and the atmosphere was one of intense discussions from the very first minute.  Senior scientist Dr. Nicholas C. Kraus was gracious enough to invite all of the participants to a guided tour of the hydraulic testing facilities at the US Army Corps of Engineers Water Experiment Station.   The social program included a great Mississippi Blues Band playing during the outdoor catfish fry dinner on Thursday night.

We are already looking forward to the 2009 Users Symposium, which is due to return to the US East Coast.
